Welcome to the Warwick & District Rugby Union Club: Home of the Water Rats.

The Warwick & District Rugby Union Club is a highly successful club from Warwick and at times has been a powerhouse in the Darling Downs Rugby Union competition.

After a hiatus in 2008, the Water Rats joined forces with the University of Southern Queensland in senior rugby in 2009 to field a B-grade side. This team made the semi-finals and finished in fourth place overall on the ladder.

The junior club also had a hugely successful 2009, and are aiming to attract even more players for the 2010 season.

In 2010 the Water Rats are aiming to, at the very least, enter A and B-grade into the Darling Downs Rugby Union competition independently.

If you are interested in either playing for, or being a part of the Warwick & District Rugby Union Club, please give us a call via the contact details or committee section of this website.

On this website you will be able to find recent news stories, photos of recent events and games and match reports once the season kicks off again.

Our clubhouse is located in Queens Park, Alice Street, Warwick.
